Allow between 12 and 16 weeks for delivery of bridesmaid dresses. Please also allow time for fittings of around a month or two, So best time to order your bridesmaid dresses is around 20 to 24 weeks before the big day, ideally just after purchasing your wedding gown.

It is better to buy the bridesmaids dresses after the wedding gown because it is better to carry a theme through however small, to link the dresses together. Some brides prefer to have different bridesmaids dresses, it’s all personal preference.

You will need to bring everything that you will be wearing with your wedding dress, your lingerie, petticoat and shoes. Changing these items after your first fitting can dramatically affect the way your bridal dress fits and cause twice as many alterations. We will be unable to carry out wedding dress fittings if you fail to bring all of the items specified.

No, bridal dress alterations are not included in the cost of the bridal gown and the cost of the alteration depends on the extent of the work involved. We have experienced seamstresses in house that can carry out any work required or if you wish you can have your dress altered elsewhere.

Most girls do need some kind of alterations even if it is only with the length. Manufactured bridal dresses are not made to measure. The dresses are made especially for you and are all a one of a kind.

Avoid that trap. Too many differing opinions can cause confusion. One or Two trusted opinions are more helpful in assisting to choose the dress. Possibly a family member or trusted friend are ideal candidates to bring with you to your appointment. Also it’s a special moment when on your wedding day everyone sees you the bride and the dress in all it’s glory for the first time

We carry a large stock of bridal dresses. The wedding dress sizes range from size 8 – 22. We also have a selection of well maintained sample bridal dresses which are fantastic value. So even if you less time than in takes to make a new bridal dress the chances are we will still be able to assist you in finding your perfect bridal gown.

Most bridal dresses take 16 weeks for delivery from time of ordering to be made and arriving in our boutique. You also need to allow time for fitting of your dress which is ideally 1 to 2 months before your wedding date. So ideally 20 to 24 weeks is perfect time to find your bridal dress. So make sure you give your self plenty of time to order a wedding dress

Most of the time your bridal appointment will last for about 1.5 hours as it is a big decision and this lets everyone have a nice relaxed time in which to find their dream wedding dress. Bridesmaid and other styling appointments tend to be a bit shorter and fitting appointments are around 45minutes long.

Yes, It is better to make an appointment especially for Saturday and Sundays as we can get booked up at weekends, please book up in several weeks in advance. if you are wanting to try on dresses. It is still advisable to make appointments week days too. You are however welcome to come and browse our bridal collections at anytime.
